Finnish Painting was proud to be part of a 126,000 sq ft, $37.2 million full facility remodel at Bloomington Ice Gardens. This historic arena (originally built in 1970, expanded in 1975 and 1993, and famously home to the 1980 “Miracle on Ice” USA Men’s Hockey Team) required a complete transformation within a tight timeline.
Because the facility needed to minimize downtime while the ice was removed, all trades were under significant schedule pressure to complete work quickly without sacrificing quality.

Finnish Painting completed the painting scope on a light remodel at Amira Choice of Champlin, a 138-bed senior living facility, focused on refreshing key interior spaces while the building remained fully occupied.
Because residents and staff were present throughout the project, maintaining a safe, clean, and respectful work environment was just as important as delivering a high-quality finished product.

Finnish Painting was selected to support a 300,000+ sq ft, $31 million addition and remodel at Detroit Lakes High School. This large-scale project combined new construction with phased renovations, requiring careful coordination to keep the school operational throughout the process.
The work was completed over multiple phases, including two summers dedicated to renovating occupied areas, while new additions were constructed during the school year.

Finnish Painting partnered with a general contractor and multiple trades to support rapid renovations of several TGK Automotive locations across Minnesota, including Lakeville, Champlin, Eden Prairie, and Savage.
As TGK Automotive continues to grow by acquiring and upgrading existing shops, the goal of these projects was to transform older, worn facilities into clean, bright, and professional environments that reflect their brand.
